Jeffrey Heller has over 30 years of experience in the accounting and tax fields, serving clients throughout the United States and internationally. Jeff received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Rutgers University and his MBA from Rutgers University in Professional Accounting. Before entering private practice, Jeff was a senior accountant for Arthur Young & Co, the predecessor to the current Big Four firm, Ernst & Young.
He has also served as assistant controller for a Fortune 1000 company, and controller for a swimwear company. A former treasurer of the West Orange Advocates for Schools and Community and the West Orange Education Foundation, he currently is treasurer and member of the Board of Directors for the Mental Health Association of Essex County and is the Vice President of Finance for the West Orange Scholarship Fund.

I would like to think I’ve incorporated a few of his traits into my accounting practice. I always try to make the client happy with an easy going, sometimes humorous approach. Prior to joining Jeffrey Heller & Associates in 1997, Leslie worked at Touche Ross, the predecessor to Deloitte Touche. In the past she has also worked at a hospital and an insurance company. She is a graduate of Boston University. Her philosophy is ” accounting is like a puzzle that is a self-balancing proof-it always works out.” She enjoys the relationships she has with clients and working “behind-the scenes.”
